The final proposals are in from the Boundary Commission for Scotland’s Review of UK Parliament constituencies.
Clovenfords is currently within the Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk constituency.
The previous two Boundary Commission reports suggested the area should move to the Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale constituency.
However, the latest proposals mean that Clovenfords is likely to be included in the Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk constituency that I represent.
I’ve been very proud to represent the people of Clovenfords so it’s welcome that the area will remain in my constituency of Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk.
It is positive that the process has now concluded and I am pleased to have the chance to keep delivering on local people’s top priorities.
If anyone has questions about this Boundary Commission change or wants to raise any other local issue with me, please get in touch.
