The winner of the annual Christmas card competition for Borders school children has been announced.
The awards are run annually by myself and Rachael Hamilton MSP, who then send out cards to the public which feature the winning design.
This year's winner was Jolyon, a primary six pupil from Ednam Primary School.
He was presented with his prize, Super Mario Lego, from the local MP and MSP on Friday morning.
The runners up were Philip from Broomlands Primary School; Lily from Duns Primary School; and Kainat from Philiphaugh Community School.
Judging our annual Christmas card competition is a highlight of the festive season for me.
It's a real joy to see all the amazing designs and drawings from local school children. Well done to the winner and the runners up.
Thank you to everyone who took part. It was really tough to choose between all the excellent submissions.
