Thank you to the hundreds of Borders residents who came to our summer surgery tour this year.
Rachael Hamilton MSP and I held advice surgeries at more than 80 locations, including in Gala, Kelso, Hawick, Eyemouth, Melrose, Lauder, Selkirk, Tweedbank, Coldstream, Newcastleton, Jedburgh and dozens of villages across the Borders.
As your MP and MSP, we know how important it is to be accountable and accessible to our constituents. Since I was first elected to represent the Borders in 2007, the surgery tour has been a highlight of my year.
These advice surgeries are an opportunity for us to hear your concerns, listen to any issues you may have, and gain valuable insight into what matters to Borders residents.
All year round, our job is to serve you by making sure the Borders is the best possible place to live and work.
If you didn’t manage to come along to meet us, there will be many other chances as we hold surgeries on a regular basis all over the Borders.
